"Chomolungma" is the Tibetan name for Mount Everest, which means "The Goddess Mother of the Universe." This name reflects the reverence and respect for the mountain, recognizing it as the highest and most sacred peak. Inspired by this mountain, we created this sculpture. Its central piece represents the meeting point between the celestial and the terrestrial, and the horizontal piece that crosses it acts as the axis of the world. In many cultures, this axis, often called axis mundi, is a symbol of stability and balance. In the context of human life, this represents the need to find and maintain a balance between different aspects of existence.

We have created this sculpture from black stoneware and African walnut wood. The central piece has a height of 30 cm and a width of 30 cm, while the piece that crosses the sculpture has a width of 85 cm.
